Bio:
Hailing from the Illinois side of St. Louis, Target Market is a band that won’t stop delivering. Since their 2006 Afternoon Records release of “No Thrills”, the TM boys have been working hard to refine and settle their sound. Infectious hooks, guitarmonies, and dynamic rhythms replace once angular and raw guitar work to create a complete sonic vision. Target Market is the masterwork of singer/guitarist Nathan Bernaix. With influences ranging from the likes of Thin Lizzy, Sonic Youth, and Broken Social Scene, Bernaix utilizes his own creativity to construct melodic landscapes unique to the midwesterner’s style and prowess.

Their newest release on Afternoon Records, “Up On The Moon” holds true to Target Market’s high energy, while depicting a deeper and more attentive group of musicians. With the recording intellect of Ryan Wasoba (Bird Cloud Recordings/ So Many Dynamos) the group captured the power of their live performances in tandem with the subtleness and innocence of their matured direction. Having shared the stage with such acts as Tapes n’ Tapes, Murder By Death, the Mae Shi, and their brother-band So Many Dynamos, Target Market will surely mesmerize audiences everywhere.
